Go to the course you are uploading the assignment into.
Click on Course Tools under Control Panel to expand it.
Select Turnitin Assignments.
Click on the Turnitin Assignment you wish to upload a paper to. Click Submit Paper.
This should show you all the assignments that have been submitted for this particular assignment.
Now select the way you're going to submit the paper where it says choose a paper item submission method.
You can either do a single file upload, multiple file upload, or cut/paste upload. Instructions on the different file uploads are below.
Single File Upload: If you choose to upload a single file
Go to the author drop down box and select the student's name whose paper you're submitting. Enter the name of the paper in the submission title box.
If they are not enrolled in your class then select non-enrolled student.
If you chose a non-enrolled student name then you must enter the first and last name manually.
If you selected a students name then their first and last name should have been filled in automatically.
Go to Choose File and select the file you wish to upload.
Click Upload.
Multiple File Upload:If you choose to do a multiple file upload
Click Choose File and a File Upload window should open.
Select the file you wish to submit and hit Open.
Wait for the computer to accept the file then go to the student column,
Select the drop down box and
Select the student's name whose paper you're submitting.Enter the name of the paper in the title box.
If they are not enrolled in your class then select non-enrolled student.
If you chose a non-enrolled student name then you must enter the first and last name manually.
If you selected a students name then their first and last name should have been filled in automatically.
Repeat these steps for each paper until you're done.
Click on upload all.
Cut & Paste Upload: If you choose to cut/paste
Simply cut and paste the desired text into the cut and paste your paper box.
Go to the author drop down box and select the student's name whose paper you're submitting.Enter the name of the paper in submission title and click upload.
If they are not enrolled in your class then select non-enrolled student.
If you chose a non-enrolled student name then you must enter the first and last name manually.
If you selected a students name then their first and last name should have been filled in automatically.
You will be shown a preview to make sure that the files or text shown are the ones you wish to submit. Click Submit.
Keep in mind that formatting of the text will be taken out of the preview but will show up in your actual submission.
